JOB CORPS

Job Corps is a federally funded career and technical training school. Housing and meals are provided but students can live on or off campus. Students receive a monthly allowance paid to attend classes, learn skills and are provided with minor medical and dental care. All at no cost to those who qualify! Many teens from polygamous families and communities have found that they fit in very well at Job Corps and have been able to get an education and prepare for a career.

To be eligible for the Job Corps program you must:

•  Be 16 and not yet 25 years of age, unless you have a noted disability, then the upper age limit will be waived

•  Have a low income

•  Pass a criminal background check

•  Commit to at least 1 year of training
